Peter Hunt was born and raised in Pasadena California. His career began at age eight on the stage of The Pasadena Playhouse. He went on to study at Hotchkiss, Yale, and The Yale School of Drama where he received a Masters Degree. Before becoming a director, he worked for a number of years in the New York theatre and elsewhere as a lighting designer.
