When everyone assumes he must be a great player just because hes black, Chris gets recruited to his junior high schools basketball team even though he really cant play the game. Chris is suddenly one of the most popular kids in school, and all the attention he is receiving from the faculty and his classmates puts a strain on his relationship with Greg. Meanwhile, to bring in some extra money, Julius and Rochelle rent out their upstairs room, but Rochelle quickly becomes suspicious of their new tenant, Mr. Tate (guest star Clarence Williams III).
