A muscular young man, totally nude and suffering from amnesia, is dragged from the sea and brought to the Good Karma hospital, where he gives no clues to his identity. Ultimately Lydia discovers his name and his secret and, helped by Ruby, makes him face up to his situation. Ruby also visits a village school to give the children their medicals; teacher Anton Karkik asks her for a date, which she declines, and she helps pupil Vijay, who is withdrawn and undersized for her age.
