A show-star engages a lady companion looking for new sensations. Their relationship becomes complex and incomprehensible, which at firs t appears to make both happy. A story to gladden the hearts of De Sade fans and followers of Sacher von Masoch. A weirdo of the first order Rosanna Schiaffino has some bizarre fantasies in which to involve her slave girl. Haydée Politoff, as the slave girl, not only submits to three male lovers, but allows Schiaffino to have her way with her as well, even helping the processings along with some original ideas, some which she gives birth to in very sexy dream sequences. The movie, which incidentally is a chess term meaning the queen is in danger, is in no danger at the box office. It is certainly one of the most controversial films of the 70’s.
