1984年加入无线电视，多于明珠台与狄宝娜摩亚搭档主持节目，偶尔在电视剧及电影中客串演出。

1991年后，关朝聪因身患艾滋病长期住院接受治疗。

1995年，关朝聪病逝于加拿大圣保罗医院，享年36岁。
