A young Greek composer is trying to escape the era’s disease, apathy. After his wife falls into an irreversible coma, he travels to Paris where he wants to meet Aphrodite, a girl who impressed him with her photos in the papers years ago. He hopes that she will tell him the word he expects before midnight on his coming birthday, therefore grant him an extension of his life.
